46 clubs are already participated since first BEPL organized
by FA till date (2015/16). And some of them are only qualified on all
competition. With only Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Man United,
and Spurs are the privilege participants. 47th lucky member of English
premier league in 2015-16 is AFC Bournemouth will play with Aston Villa on the
opening weekend of 8 August.
The lowest point scoring three clubs will be relegated, with three promoted
clubs from the Football League’s Championship replacing them, At the end of
each season,
After successful completion of 2nd English premier league, number of club are
reduced in 20.
All season of the Barclays Premier League has had a title
sponsor unless the opening campaign in 1992/93. Previously the competition was
called FA Carling Premiership, then after sponsorship changed in 2001 to
Barclaycard until 2004. Barclaycard was changed change into FA Barclays
Premiership from 2007/08 in all campaign. 2015/16 will be the last season of
this sponsor. From coming up season
2016/17, the competition name will organized as the Premier League.
The first title holder of the competition was Manchester United, Concluding 10
points clear of Aston Villa, and Manchester United is top title holder of total
competition of championship with 13 time winner.

From 2001/02 season, clubs with finish in the top four ranking are qualified for the UEFA Champions League, while the team with fifth place gets to play in the UEFA Europa League. Further places can become available to teams in sixth and seventh depending on whether teams in the top five win the League Cup or FA Cup.
